A Word from Andrew... Fifth Sunday of Again and Again Lenten Series, WATCH US GROW Preschool Campaign, and Holy Week and Easter Preview...
Dear Pine Street Church Members and Friends,

Welcome to the Fifth Sunday of Lent.

Today, we continue our Again and Again Lenten series with a focus on the enigmatic wisdom teaching of Jesus from St. John's Gospel (12: 20-33): Very truly, I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains just a single grain. But if it dies, it bears much fruit. 25Those who love their life lose it, and those who hate their life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

Our WATCH US GROW campaign continues to offer us a chance to raise a matching fund for our Off Broadway Preschool. (Read below). Be sure to hear an exciting update from our Preschool Chair, Cindy Owens, in today's online worship service.

We are now only two weeks away from Easter Sunday! You can preview Holy Week and Easter worship opportunities HERE.

Be sure to read the Community Care list below---to pray and be mindful of those in our community who need our care and prayers.

Join us for worship on the Pine Street Church YouTube channel today at 10am. You can also connect at our website at: PineStreetChurch.net
With heart,
Andrew

Life Lessons From Artists - Courage
*NEW TIME: 9:00AM MST

Even though we may not be creative people ourselves, we can learn a great deal from artists. In this series, we will examine a wide variety of artists - writers, painters, musicians, actors - to discover the life lessons they learned on the way to answering their creative calling.

When we think of artists, we quickly make assumptions, many of them false. We believe they were destined for success. We believe they were born with extraordinary talent. We believe they were lucky. All of this is complete horse manure.

Artists feel all the emotions we feel, experience all the obstacles we experience, must make difficult choices all the rest of us must make. In fact, creative types usually must face even greater difficulties and uncertainties because, let's face it, being an artist is one of the most impractical paths to take in our modern world. And yet, so many feel compelled to say "Yes!" to this mysterious call.

Join me as we examine the bewildering, wonderful, wacky lives of artists, and see if there might be treasure waiting for us there.

See you Sunday! And please share this event with kindred spirits.

You can learn more about each week's teachings at the WAMA Art Asylum page HERE.
