Women’s Soccer gears up for another Championship trophy


PSC’s very own NJCAA Division II South Atlantic District Champions leave for Huntsville, Alabama early next week to dominate in the next level of play at the Division II Women’s Soccer Championship Nov. 17 through 23.


The Pirates face Pima Community College (#7) Nov. 18 at 3:15 p.m. and Heartland Community College (#3) Nov. 19 at 3:15 p.m.

2024 Walter F. Spara Writing Competition Reception on Nov. 19


The English and Communications Department will host a reception on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 6:00 p.m. to recognize outstanding PSC student writers. The competition is named for PSC English Professor Walter F. Spara, who initiated the college’s creative writing program and the literary journal Hurricane Review. All are invited to attend this free event in the College’s Anna Lamar Switzer Center in Building 15, Room 1590.

2024 Foo Foo Festival a success at PSC


Fans of visual and musical arts experienced the Foo Foo “wow” factor at Pensacola State College. Artist Rachel Livedalen’s “Everything in Its Place” exhibit (on display through Dec. 13), lecture and workshops at the Charles W. Lamar Studio Nov. 5 - 7 engaged visual arts fans while musical group Seraph Brass’ evening performance at Ashmore Auditorium held the audience captive with their amazing talent. Thanks to all who support the arts at PSC!
