Pensacola State College’s first International Festival was a cultural showcase of food, music, dance

Little kids danced jigs to the music of McGuire’s Irish Pub Bagpipe Band. Other little ones pranced in the grass later, keeping rhythm with the joyous Italian dancers gliding across the stage. There was so much music, so much food, so much dance, and so much fun at Saturday’s inaugural Pensacola State College International Festival.

PSC’s most creative student-artists celebrated at awards ceremony

Pensacola State College graphic design student Megan Rathmann won the coveted Anna Award at the 2023 Annual Student Art Awards Exhibition Awards Ceremony held April 13 in the Anna Lamar Switzer Center for Visual Arts. Graphic technology student Natalee Stuart’s linoleum print, “Meaningless Death,” won Best of Show.

Student Excellence Awards Ceremony honors PSC’s best, most-dedicated students

Nearly 100 Pensacola State College students were honored for achievements in academics, leadership, service and volunteerism at the 2023 PSC Student Excellence Awards Ceremony on April 13 in the Jean & Paul Amos Performance Studio at WSRE-TV.

Pensacola State’s ‘Little Women’ production receives FCSAA Superior Rating

Pensacola State College’s theater production of Kate Hamill’s adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s “Little Women” received a Superior rating from the Florida College System Activities Association – Theatre Division. Raines Carr, theater director at Chipola College, was the adjudicator.

PSC Family plays and celebrates at 2023 Pirate Fest

That was fun. Let’s do it again. Pirate Fest 2023 took over the Pensacola State College Pensacola campus on April 18 for a day of wacky fun, good food and fellowship. Hundreds of PSC students, faculty, staff, alumni and family members came out for a morning and afternoon of inflatable fun.
