PSC President Ed Meadows named chairman of Florida College System Council of Presidents

Pensacola State President Dr. Ed Meadows was recently voted to serve as the Chairman of the Florida College System Council of Presidents. Meadows joins Tony Carvajal who was selected to serve as the CEO and executive director of the Association of Florida Colleges.

9 Pensacola State performing arts students selected to 2022-2023 FCSAA All-Academic Team

Nine Pensacola State College performing arts students have been named to the Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) 2022-2023 All-Academic Team. Ezra Baker, Tabari Daniels-Butcher, Haileigh Furlong, Sienna Hudak, Daelan Moreland, Owen Raley, Tristen Rodriguez, Hudson Laws Savage and Francisco Segovia were honored for academic excellence, leadership and community service.

Pensacola State College Staff Profile

Meet Tilden Whitfield, an academic advisor/life skills coach for TRIO Veterans Student Support Services. Whitfield, 30, has worked in postsecondary education and recently joined the Pensacola State College Family.


In his position, Whitfield helps military veterans who are first-generation college students with career choices, degree plans, class schedules, applying for financial aid, and even transferring to a four-year college institution.
