16 Pensacola State students receive $22,000

in Cantonment Rotary Club scholarships

Sixteen Pensacola State College stellar students received $22,000 in Cantonment Rotary Club scholarships on Wednesday, June 14. Since 1991, the Rotary Club has provided Pensacola State students with over $80,000 in scholarships. Dustin Vaughn is the Rotary Club’s president.

Pensacola State College celebrates Juneteenth 2023

The young and young-at-heart all turned out for Pensacola State College’s annual Juneteenth observance on Sunday, June 18.

More than 150 attendees helped the College celebrate Juneteenth ─ the newest federal holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved Black Americans.

Say hello to Corey Lofton, Pensacola State College’s Director of Nursing. Lofton has worked in health care for numerous years – from direct care to hospital administration. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. Lofton works on the Warrington campus. He joined the Pensacola State family in 2022.

Bahrain delegation visits PSC to learn about workforce education

A delegation of nine educators from Bahrain visited Pensacola State College on Wednesday, June 7. The visitors were invited to the United States May 28-June 9 under the auspices of the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program. The national program is arranged by the International Visitor Leadership Program On Demand Division and the WHA/EAP/NEA Branch.
