PSC Commencement Celebrates Class of 2025

On Friday, May 9, 2025, the Pensacola Bay Center was filled with celebration as it hosted Pensacola State College’s Commencement Ceremony. The stands overflowed with cheering parents, grandparents, spouses, children, and supporters—each one sharing in the joy of the graduates’ accomplishments and the promise of their future.

Pensacola State College Pins the Future

PSC honored graduates from several career-focused programs during Spring 2025 Pinning Ceremonies on May 7 and 8.



The May 7 ceremony at McMillan Auditorium recognized students in Veterinary Technology, Dental Hygiene, Phlebotomy Technician, Physical Therapist Assistant, Medical Assisting, and Pharmacy Technician.


On May 8, nursing graduates earning the Bachelor or Associate in Science in Nursing were celebrated at First Pentecostal Church, marking their entry into the profession.


These ceremonies underscored the service, skill, and dedication required across a range of essential careers.

PSC Vice President for Business Affairs Anita Kovacs receives NACUBO national accounting award

Pensacola State College Vice President for Business Affairs Anita Kovacs has been honored with the 2025 Daniel D. Robinson Accounting Award by the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO). The award was presented during the organization’s 2025 Higher Education Accounting Forum held April 22-24 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Let them eat cake: history comes to life during Reign of Terror lesson

Dr. Brian Rucker, Professor of Humanities and Social Sciences at Pensacola State College, once again brought history to life – this time, with a full-scale wooden guillotine and a touch of gallows humor. On May 1, outside of Building 14, Rucker and his European History 1001 class re-enacted a slice of the French Revolution during their lesson on the Reign of Terror. 

Athletics All Sports Banquet - April 25, 2025

Pensacola State College celebrated the close of another exciting year of Pirate Athletics on April 25 at Hartsell Arena. More than 200 guests—including student-athletes, their families, coaches, and loyal supporters—filled the venue to honor a year of hard work, growth, and achievement across all sports programs.

Employee Service Awards ceremony celebrates Pensacola State's Pirate family

Pensacola State College honored its own on April 23 during the annual Employee Service Awards ceremony at the Jean & Paul Amos Performance Studio, celebrating those who have dedicated five to 40 years of service to the College.

Pensacola State College Summer 2025 Hours

All PSC Campuses and Centers will be open Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

On the Pensacola Campus, Admissions, Student Financial Services, and Financial Aid offices (located in Building 2), as well as Testing (in Building 6),

will be open on Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
