2017 Athletes in Excellence Award

We are now accepting nominations for our 2017 Athletes in Excellence AwardThis award honors athletes who have used their achievements in sport as a catalyst to inspire positive change. The award recipients are acknowledged for their outstanding efforts in community outreach, humanitarianism and youth mentorship. 

Award recipients also receive a financial award in the amount of $10,000, which allows them to continue pursuing their passion for community service and mentorship. Nomination deadline is July 14, 2017.

Grant Recipient Spotlight: 

Ready, Set, Gold!  arranges for Olympic and Paralympic athletes to visit schools within the Los Angeles Unified School District to educate students about the importance of exercise and to motivate them to adopt healthy habits into their daily lives.

We are pleased to announce that we have increased our support of Ready, Set, Gold! to $75,000 for the 2017-2018 school year. This program plays a crucial role in improving the health of youth, and we are proud to continue supporting this vital organization. 

2017 Angel City Games

This year we are proud to be a sponsor of the upcoming Angel City Games, which take place June 22-25 in Los Angeles

The Angel City Games is the leading adaptive sports festival in the Greater Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. It is an inclusive competition open to all athletes from the USA and abroad, of all skill levels, who have physical or visual impairments. 
The first Angel City Games was held in 2015 with over 150 athletes. Last year the participation number doubled, and we expect to see even greater numbers this year!

2017 Exceptional Youth Scholarship

We are now accepting applications for our 2017 Exceptional Youth Scholarship!

This $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to 10 high school seniors who have demonstrated remarkable academic performance as well as a commitment to volunteerism and mentorship activities. 

The deadline for applications is Tuesday, June 13th. We invite you to share this with any students you think may be interested!
