Introduction: New Watershed Coordinator

Christina Lopez joined the Partnership on June 1st. Christina is an environmental geographer and earned her M.S. and Ph.D. in geography at Texas State University. While at Texas State, she held teaching and leadership positions and worked with several environmental organizations. In her free time, she enjoys hiking local green spaces, swimming in the San Marcos River, and traveling to Big Bend National Park.  Check out Christina's research here

Funding for the development and support of the Plum Creek Watershed Protection Plan is through a Clean Water Act grant provided by the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
