A Note from our President and CEO

Hello Heart of Missouri United Way community,

February is a month that always reminds me of the power of connection. While January invites reflection and fresh starts, February brings a renewed focus on the people and partnerships that make our work possible. This month is no exception.

This year, Heart of Missouri United Way's 80th anniversary year, I've found myself thinking about the thousands of community members, volunteers, donors, and partners who have shaped Heart of Missouri United Way into the strong, rooted organization it is today. Their commitment inspires our team daily as we work to build the next 80 years of impact, and we'll soon be inviting you to celebrate alongside us.

As you read through this month's newsletter, I hope you'll feel that same spark of inspiration. Whether you're cheering on our Give 5 graduates, inspired to support our literacy campaign underway, or following the next ASPIRES cohort launching this spring, know that you are part of a community creating meaningful change every day.

Thank you for walking alongside us.

Warmly,

Talia

President & CEO

Congrats to Give 5, Cohort 10!

Whoo-hoo! Give 5, Cohort 10, recently graduated. These incredible individuals dedicated their time to learn about all the amazing volunteer opportunities in Columbia. We’re so grateful for your commitment to making a difference by volunteering 5 hours a month.

Thanks to our event speaker, Brittani Secundino, who delivered a meaningful speech during the graduation.
