The Power of Love

So much chaos and uncertainty is happening in our world today,

especially here in the USA. Many of us here are experiencing shock, grief, anxiety, and debilitating fear around what has been going on. Our nervous systems are on high alert as the blows to our Democracy feel relentless.

For me, the one that still shakes me to my core is our Supreme Court's unconstitutional and bias decision to grant Trump immunity from criminal behaviors, something he has demonstrated repeatedly in and out of office.

Regardless of which party you support, it should deeply disturb every American

that the highest, and once respected and balanced office of our Democracy, has now been given the powers of a Dictator.

This level of corruption is unprecedented and unfathomable.

As a kid, I remember learning about the system of checks and balances

in our US Government and feeling the safety of this.

That has just been stripped away from us.

My other deep concern is Project 2025, the Conservative, Trump supported mandate that plans to dismantle our government, and take away the rights of millions, including those of LGBTQ+, BiPoC and Women. It threatens to control our speech and our media, dictate education and family relations, undo climate change protections, and force us into being a Christian nation.

70% of Americans are not aware of this 920 page plan.

Please, get informed. Read the document.

Now, onto the Power of Love.

A strange title for this month's news, eh?

Not really.

While my humanness has been exhausted from the continuous blows,

my Soul is feeling a renewed sense of hope and love.

I still ride the emotional waves and there are many in this.

My heart aches at the thought of potentially losing our Democracy.

My stomach is in knots thinking of our freedoms and protections being taken, and the massive devastation, death and suffering this would cause.

But then I remember, the Power of Love. And this quote:

"When the Power of Love overcomes the love of power,

the world will know peace."

~Jimi Hendrix

Clearly, we still have a ways to go... 111 days to be exact,

I am holding this one liner as OUR Mandate:

Love, justice, equality and freedom for all.

There are many of us who see the Spiritual Warfare that is happening.

Like a bad sci-fi movie, it is the Darkness battling the Light. But this isn't a bad movie or reality show, it is real life!

(stopping 'Woke Culture' is in Project 2025 - 26 times)

Fear is loud. False pride is loud. Bullying is loud.

Unhealed trauma and wounds are loud. Ignorance is loud. Darkness is grabby and loud. They all operate on a low vibration.

But love, quiet as it can be at times, is high vibration. Love is clear, strong, pure and steady. Love is a miracle worker.

Darkness can be embraced and dissolved in Love.

Love is what we are made of, and it endures to the end.

Regardless of which side of the battle-field you are on....

I'm holding the vision that Love wins for all of us.

Love will show up at the polls and vote.

Too many of our freedoms are on the line now.

Otherwise, we will have some devastating lessons to grow through.

And everyone will see what we created, promoted or allowed to happen.

Earth is a school.

We choose to come here to learn and grow.

We also come to clear, and help others clear Karma.

There is much to clear in the USA, given our history.

But most of all...

We come here to Awaken to the Love we are

and to Remember the Light within.

It is probably going to get messier before we truly get it.

Thankfully there are Angels of Light guiding and supporting us.

Be open to the Grace, Miracles and Blessings that are available. It's time to call in the Spiritual troops now. Pray for help daily. Call in the Light daily.

Turn off the excess noise and distractions.

Join together in high-vibe community and vision.

Use your power of clear intention.

All hearts are needed on deck now!

Let us Remember the Power of Love and Be it!

In Loving,

Teri Jo

When you catch yourself thinking negative thoughts - thoughts that negate your highest idea about a thing - think again! I want you to do this, literally.

If you think you are in a doldrum, in a pickle, and no good can come of this, think again. If you think the world is a bad place, filled with negative events, think again. If you think your life is falling apart, and it looks as if you'll never get it back together again, think again.

TED Talk: Three Secrets of Resilient People

To be hopeful in bad times is not just foolishly romantic. It is based on the fact that human history is a history not only of cruelty, but also of compassion, sacrifice, courage, kindness. What we choose to emphasize in this complex history will determine our lives. If we see only the worst, it destroys our capacity to do something. If we remember those times and places—and there are so many - where people have behaved magnificently, this gives us the energy to act, and at least the possibility of sending this spinning top of a world in a different direction. And if we do act, in however small a way, we don't have to wait for some grand utopian future. The future is an infinite succession of presents, and to live now as we think human beings should live, in defiance of all that is bad around us, is itself a marvelous victory.

Inspirational SOUL of the Month

Meet the amazing Heather Cox Richardson.

She is truly an American Treasure and has helped to keep me and thousands of Americans grounded, calm and informed through all this crazy. I'm not one who watches and news or television. I don't read newspapers.

I get news from my brother, google searches, and reading Heather's letters, posts and watching her videos. She cares about history and our democracy and shares facts and truth, something that is sadly rare these days.

Heather is an American historian, author and educator.

She was born in Chicago in 1962 and was raised in Maine. She received her BA, MA and PhD from Harvard University. She is a professor of history at Boston College, where she teaches courses on the American Civil War, the Reconstruction Era, the American West, and the Plains Indians. She previously taught history at MIT and the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Heather has authored seven books on history and politics.

In 2019, Richardson started publishing Letters from an American, a nightly newsletter that chronicles current events in the larger context of American history. The newsletter accrued over one million subscribers, making her the most successful individual author of a paid publication on Substack. Thank you Heather for for keeping us informed and inspired.
