In today’s complex world, more than ever before, so much is competing for one’s attention. It is increasingly easier to become distracted from whatever it is that a person attempts to improve or accomplish in one’s life. People living in contemporary society simply have much more to do and be responsible for than did previous generations.
There may be less to do in regard to physical work, perhaps because of the high-tech age into which the world has moved, but this has been replaced with work requiring our mental attention or concentration. Our daily lifestyle requires a state of mind that can maintain concentration on appropriate priorities, if we are to remain on track as to what is expected of us by others and, most importantly, what we expect of ourselves.

Higher Consciousness Meditation

For many years, Dr. Paul Leon Masters taught students the practice of higher consciousness, mystical meditation in his classes. Being divinely guided, he brought
forth many new and innovative techniques and practices of meditation.
In everyday life, every physical perception has other vibratory levels that are usually unperceived by your physical senses. There are vibrational frequency energies on a psychic, ethereal, astral, mental, and mystical level. In Dr. Masters’ voice, there are usually undetected frequencies of high spiritual energies transmitted to corresponding energy frequencies in your own higher levels of mind and awareness, stimulating them into activity.
The higher vibrational frequencies in Dr. Masters’ voice come as the result of years of going into the higher levels of his consciousness during meditation, in which he has personally experienced practically all states of meditative consciousness, which you may have heard or read about in various schools of thought, such as Yoga, Alchemy, Theosophy, Self-Realization, Vedanta, Religious Science, Unity, and Mysticism.

Honoring Rev. Carol Taylor, B.Msc.
for her many years of dedicated service

After nearly 15 years of devoted and loyal service to the International Metaphysical Ministry and our student body, Rev. Carol Taylor has retired. We will all profoundly miss her smile, thoughtfulness, and kind, loving essence and wish her blessings, fun, and happiness as she embarks on a new journey in the next exciting chapter of her life.
Carol is one of those unique individuals who was actually raised in a metaphysical environment. From a very early age, she regularly attended the Church of Religious Science in St. Louis, Missouri. She spent her entire adult life as an active member of a Unity Church in Dallas, Texas, at one point leading their children’s program. It is no surprise, then, that when Carol moved to Sedona, she was a perfect fit for our school, becoming the staff member in charge of student accounts in 2009 and earning her Bachelor’s degree that same year. Also, you may have noticed that Carol took many of the photos we post online of Sedona. She is not only a fine photographer but also an author—having her story, “A Spirit of Hope,” published in Chicken Soup for the Soul’s “Hope and Miracles” Edition in 2015.

Rev. Carol and Rev. Michelle, who worked under Dr. Masters in Sedona, Arizona,
sharing nearly 15 years of devoted service together for the
International Metaphysical Ministry University System.

IMM staff gathered to honor Carol at an afternoon retirement luncheon in our
office conference room, surrounded by photos of Dr. Masters.
Rev. Lyn and Theresa stepped out of the photo. Missing were Deidre and Kara. Angie, Taleen, Monica, Jordan, Linda Mae, Michelle, Carol, Anita, and Mauricio were present. Steve was the photographer.

Taleen Khatchadourian into our IMM family,
who has taken over from where
Rev. Carol Taylor left off.
We look forward to her many years of service.

Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Taleen grew up remaining deeply connected to her Armenian heritage and spiritual roots. By volunteering to help plan fundraisers within her community over the years, she discovered her passion for planning events! After graduating with a BBA specializing in Event Management from Macquarie University, she eventually moved to Los Angeles to expand in her career, working with some of the best creative teams as an international high-end Event Planner, Producer, and Floral Designer.
In 2019, after almost 15 years of dedication to her career, Taleen felt God’s call to be of service and embarked on her own Spiritual Journey, re-discovering her unique connection to the Divine within. What seemed like destiny unfolding, she shut down her business and met her first few mentors, learning several Spiritual and Energetic Healing modalities merged with the gifts of Sound. As a Gong Master, she began merging her gifts and experience in her past career, creating Sacred Sound Healing Ceremonies all across Southern California, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, and Arizona. She eventually found herself feeling the call to move to Sedona, connecting with the community as a Spiritual Healer and Counselor, and in Divine timing, connected with the University of Metaphysics/ Sedona, ready to be of service.

I am near completion of my studies for the Bachelor's Degree. I took the course slowly, at my own pace. Integrating the lessons into my daily life. Reading and re-reading the lessons. This has helped me grow in more ways than I could have imagined.
