LIBRARY CARD SIGN-UP MONTH
Nationwide, September is Library Card Sign-up Month. There is nothing more empowering than getting your own library card. It gives you access to technology, resources, and services to pursue your passions and dreams.

You may not need to be convinced of the worlds that are opened up with your library card, but maybe your friends need a little nudge? Here are some of the many things you can do with your library card, even while our libraries are closed:

And the cherry on top of all this wonderful access is that we no longer charge overdue fines! If you borrow from us (books, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, and other materials), you will not accrue fines if items are returned after the due date. Learn more here.

Don't have a card? Sign up here. If you DO have a card, forward this email along to your friends so that we can add them to our library family!
NEWS FROM THE FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY
We have some very exciting news to share! A lot of you have asked how and when you can buy our books again. And with no reopening of the Library in the near future, we came up with an idea. You can now order CHILDREN’S BOOK BAGS from us.

You have the option between eight different bags with either books, DVDs or audio books. And you can let us know if your kid likes a specific topic and we’ll try our best to find the right items for you. You’ll pay your items in cash when you pick them up on Saturday, September 19 from 10-12 behind the library and bring home a bag full of surprises. Ready to order?
