Thanksgiving is a day where we reflect on all of the people and experiences in our lives that we are thankful for, but the daily practice of expressing gratitude is a  powerful force that has immense benefits including  just making us feel good! 

During the month of October, we invite you to help us fill the Bowl of Gratitude located at the studio...

The Beyond team is grateful for your smiles, kind words and the stories of inspiration that you share with us each day. Thank you and have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones!

From October 3rd to 17th, we also invite you to help us fill the donation hamper for the Kanata Food Cupboard to assist families in need.

Barefoot Bootcamp is on the move from Tuesday morning to Thursday night! 
Starting October 13th, spice up your Thursday evenings from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. 
and energize your body and mind with this dynamic class combining the benefits of Yoga, Pilates and weights.  Don't worry, this class still ends in a Savasana!

Beyond is excited to host this fundraising event in collaberation with the University of Ottawa Brain & Mind Rsearch Institute to raise awareness and funds for brain research in: Stroke, Parkinson's, Concussion Injury, Depression, Neuromuscular Disease & Dementia. 
Join us on October 29th from 2-4 p.m. for an afternoon of education and yoga!

There is this theory out there in the yoga world, or maybe in the whole world, that the more you practice gratitude the more content you will be in your own life; and that gratitude is a muscle that if flexed on a regular basis, grows.  I've been thinking about this.  October is a month we tend to think of as thankful, and this year I am blessed to be helping organize a family reunion.  My family is awesome in every sense of the word, but trying to organize over 90 of us for an entire weekend of meals and activities is a little like trying to herd lovable kittens, of a tenacious descent.

*wait, who's bringing chili? dessert? What time is euchre? Where's Keith? Who has a guitar?
