Hidden in Plain Sight

Sometimes the best hiding place is in plain sight. Oftentimes, the best place to hide is where no one would expect to find you. I was awakened recently with the idea of being “hidden in plain sight.” Sometimes we need a place to hide, a refuge, a cleft in the rock, or a shadow under which to abide. Eyes That Cannot See

In our tabernacle, light is dispersed according to what the eye sees. In the above-quoted verse of scripture, a “single” eye means an unwillingness to do harm, to be without guile (deceit), benevolent, and generous. When the eye accomplishes its purpose of seeing things as they are, then it is singular. 1Our heart is undivided because we have a singular vision. We know what we believe. The light filling our tabernacle continually guides our steps to preserve us from the snares of the devil. But if our eye follows the darkness, and our heart is exposed to things that are not as they appear (deception), our eyes will see another vision, and our hearts will become divided as they struggle to discern good from evil.

Amos cried out to God, saying, “O Lord God, please forgive! How can Jacob stand, For he is so small [that he cannot endure this]”? (Amos 7:2 AMP).
