"And he said, A certain man had two sons: And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living ..." 

(Luke 15:11-32).

A heavy burden has gripped the heart of many for a mighty revival of countless prodigals to return to God in truth, holiness, and righteousness. We must pray, intercede, and fast more than ever before for their return. Jeremiah 3:22 reads, “Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee, for thou art the Lord our God.”

Approach the Father in that positional place of covenant that the prodigal has with Him. Remind the Lord that the prodigal is one of his children, and that He is the Father of the Lost. Ask the Lord to go rescue him as a shepherd rescues a lamb that strays from the flock.
