Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ” (Ephesians 4:15 NIV).

Many years ago, in the late 1980's at one of our General Conferences, I heard a message that greatly affected me. I do not recall the name of the minister speaking that night, but I profoundly remember his word to us as he recalled a story he had read in a magazine. 

The UPCI General Conference and other conferences convene across our fellowship annually, and it is important that we pray and fast for such events. Many of these meetings generally have a focus both on leadership and laity, and usually encompass all age levels. Emphasis is placed on Church growth, revival, and harvest as we reach out to souls. Pray for the success of every conference and for the will of God to be done! 

According to the Word of God, we have to invest time in prayer in order to obtain the direction that we desperately need from God.

We can become disillusioned before we get our answer. The Bible says in John 4:24, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit…”
