Dear Resurrection College Prep Community,
As we embark on the new school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible sense of community and purpose that defines Resurrection College Prep. Rooted in our Catholic, Lasallian traditions, we are committed to fostering an environment where faith, service, and respect for all persons guide us in every endeavor. As we move forward, I’d like to share some exciting updates and highlight how they align with three core Lasallian principles: Faith in the Presence of God, Inclusive Community, and Quality Education.
Faith in the Presence of God
One of the most cherished spaces on our campus is the chapel, a sacred environment where our students gather for reflection, prayer, and spiritual growth. I am thrilled to announce that, thanks to the generosity of a donor, we will be moving forward with a major renovation of our chapel. This project will enhance the beauty and functionality of the space, creating a custom altar that reflects Resurrection’s Lasallian identity and renewing the chapel’s furniture and design to provide an even more welcoming atmosphere for our students.
We have also had an incredibly meaningful start to our school year, celebrating our first liturgy in the theater. The positive feedback from students and staff affirmed the importance of providing spiritual experiences that deeply connect with our mission. These efforts, along with ongoing faculty formation programs, reaffirm our commitment to nurturing the faith lives of both students and staff.
Inclusive Community
At Resurrection, we believe that every member of our school community belongs. This was evident at our recent Back to School Night, where we welcomed parents to connect with faculty and staff, learn about the upcoming school year, and walk through the same halls as their daughters. Events like these help us build strong partnerships with our families, ensuring that together we can support each student's journey.
Additionally, our ongoing Campus Beautification efforts have transformed the grounds with new landscaping, vibrant greenery, and refreshed outdoor spaces. Complementing this is our locker painting project, which will bring a bright new energy to our hallways. These updates reflect our goal of creating an inviting, inclusive campus that feels like home to every student.

Quality Education
As part of our continuous effort to enhance learning spaces, we are embarking on a major classroom renovation project. Over the next two years, we will be replacing desks and reimagining classroom layouts to support innovative and collaborative learning. These changes will foster an environment where students can thrive, embodying our dedication to providing a quality education grounded in the values of faith and service.
We are also excited to announce the opening of our brand-new College and Career Center, a space designed to support students in their academic and post-secondary journeys. From college searches and essay writing to career exploration and internship opportunities, this center will play a vital role in preparing our students for their futures. I encourage you to visit the Center and meet the dedicated staff who will be working closely with your daughters to ensure their success.

Parent Engagement Coalition (PEC)
We continue to deepen our collaboration with families through the Parent Engagement Coalition (PEC), which has already convened several productive meetings this year. The coalition has been working on key initiatives to enhance parental involvement, including exploring the possibility of conducting surveys to gather feedback from parents ahead of each monthly meeting. These surveys will help us better understand the needs and concerns of our families, ensuring that your voices remain central to our decision-making processes. Additionally, the PEC is planning a family day of service, an opportunity for our school community to come together in the spirit of service and fellowship. Upcoming meetings are scheduled for the semester and we encourage you to stay engaged with this important work.
President’s Strategic Plan Student Coalition
I am also pleased to share that we have formed the President's Strategic Plan Student Coalition, which will be meeting in the coming weeks. This group is designed to give our students a voice in shaping the future of Resurrection College Prep, and it will play a key role in driving initiatives that enhance student life, Catholic identity, and academics. We are excited to see the impact these student leaders will have as they help to implement the strategic goals of our school.

Looking Forward
This year promises to be one filled with growth, opportunity, and continued dedication to our mission of forming young women of faith, knowledge, and service. We are grateful for your continued support and partnership as we work together to provide an exceptional experience for our students. With each new initiative, we remain committed to living out the Lasallian principles that guide us and inspire our community.
Thank you for being a part of the Resurrection College Prep journey. We look forward to an exciting and faith-filled year ahead.
In De La Salle,
Dr. Rick Piwowarski
President

New Liturgy Location
The new school year brings a new location for a school favorite! We have transitioned our liturgies from the gym to the Little Theater. This change has allowed us to create a more engaging atmosphere for our liturgies, providing a fresh environment that enhances the overall experience for students, faculty, and staff.
The Little Theater comfortably accommodates our entire school community, ensuring everyone can participate fully in these important moments. Feedback from students and staff has been overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing how the new setting has fostered a deeper sense of connection during our liturgical services.
