THE PRIORY POST ~ October 26, 2023
The Priory’s mission is to nurture each child’s inherent curiosity, develop an enthusiasm for learning and encourage intellectual and creative initiative, preparing the child to be a responsible, tolerant and self-confident global citizen.
Dear Priory Families,
Feedback from our prospective families who attended our Open House event last Sunday and this past Wednesday was overwhelmingly positive and solidified our school's reputation as a leader in early childhood education. Our guests had the opportunity to explore our little red schoolhouse on The Boulevard, guided by our wonderful student volunteer ambassadors, and meet with our faculty, staff and Priory parents.
Our Priory Dream Team connected with our guests, discussing the curriculum and sharing insights into the children's educational experiences. They also addressed many questions about school life, PPA events and our core values.
A heartfelt thank you to our amazing Grade 6 ambassadors, passionate staff and faculty, and our lovely parents who joined us for this year's Open House event. Your presence and participation made our Open House truly memorable for our visitors.

FSL Workshop with Suzie Bouchard
Yesterday, we were privileged to host author Suzie Bouchard, who collaborated with Mme Bianca to present a captivating character-creation activity in French for our 3rd and 4th graders. During their creative writing process, students used their imaginations, drafting detailed profiles for their very own characters. They described their characters' names, professions, fears, likes, pet peeves, and dreams, bringing them to life on paper.
Suzie, originally a lawyer, transitioned from her legal career a few years ago to pursue her true passion in writing and screenwriting. Her enthusiasm for storytelling was infectious and we are grateful to Suzie for sharing her time and expertise with our students.
A delightful twist to the day was that Suzie is the sibling of our beloved Pedagogical Coordinator, Ms. Bouchard, which brought an extra layer of excitement to the event.
