Akiva Students Receive "Outstanding Community Partner" Award from Nashville Food Project for Garden Harvest and Meals Initiative


The Akiva School in Nashville's fifth and sixth grade students and the class of 2016 have been presented the  Outstanding Community Partner Award by the Nashville Food Project. This independent non-profit is on a mission to bring people together to grow, cook, and share nourishing food, with the goals of cultivating community and alleviating hunger in the city. The students received the award for their ongoing work helping to prepare meals for needy organizations and families served by the NFP.
