We start this newsletter with a huge goodbye to Lisa! After 10 years of faithful service she will be dearly missed by so many people. We asked Lisa if she would like to write a note to everyone she loves.

Breaking up is hard to do...

Breaking up is hard to do. And, that sentiment doesn't just apply to romantic relationships—it also holds some water when it comes to leaving your job.

As many of you know, I have been with EZ Micro for over 10 years. However, life moves forward and you have choices to make (some are very tough).  I had the opportunity to start a new chapter in life, and with A LOT of praying, family discussion and a leap of faith, I made the choice to leave EZ Micro and write that next chapter.  I'm excited to say that California is on the horizon.

To all the clients and friends I have made throughout the years at EZ Micro, I wanted to say "I will miss each and every one of you."  EZ Micro has the kindest and most dedicated clients I have ever met.  Thank you for your acquaintances and friendships.

Working for, and with, Dave Dooley, has been the most rewarding, educational and spiritual journey, of which I can never repay him for.  My co-workers are my family.  I enjoy their company, their stories and the constant banter back and forth.  I miss ALL these goofballs!

Lisa is beloved by EZ Micro along with so many of our clients. We wish her all the best and we are very excited for her future.

With the leaving of Lisa comes a new employee. Typically, Lisa would be introducing the new employee but this time, I get the chance to tell you a little bit about myself.

My name is Hillary Spear, and I have a beautiful family that I cherish - my husband, 2 daughters and we are now in the process of fulfilling a lifelong dream of adopting an older child. I went to Lehigh University and started my career working for a consulting firm (CALIPER, INC) in Princeton, NJ. After the birth of my daughters, I decided to stay home and invest in them. When my youngest was about 8 years old, I went back to work at the Allentown Rescue Mission taking care of the homeless. I am very involved in the youth ministry at our church and love to spend time with my friends and family.

When Dave Dooley asked me to join EZ Micro it was an easy decision. I had been a client of EZ Micro for years and had seen the quality of their work and the character of both Dave and the employees. Over the years, EZ Micro had consistently impressed me so much that I jumped at the chance to be part of their team.

I look forward to getting to know all of you as we go on this journey together!

Wireless 'RoboFly' Looks Like an Insect, Gets Its Power from Lasers
By Mindy Weisberger, Senior Writer

A new type of flying robot is so tiny and lightweight — it weighs about as much as a toothpick — it can perch on your finger. The little flitter is also capable of untethered flight and is powered by lasers.

This is a big leap forward in the design of diminutive airborne bots, which are usually too small to support a power source and must trail a lifeline to a distant battery in order to fly, engineers who built the new robot announced in a statement.

Laser-Shooting Cow Eyeballs Are As Amazing As They Sound
By Mindy Weisberger, Senior Writer

Ordinary contact lenses just moved one step closer to letting you shoot lasers from your eyes.

Scientists recently developed the first pliable, ultrathin "membrane laser" that can be fixed to curved or delicate objects. After being charged with blue light, the membrane emits lasers; researchers tested the material by placing it on contact lenses that they then mounted on cow eyeballs, according to a new study.

Can You Name a Book? ANY Book???

According to a recent study from the Pew Research Center, almost one in four Americans has not read a book in the past year. So to find out if that is true, we sent a team to the street to ask pedestrians to name a book, and here are the very sad results.

Wisconsin Company Encourages Employees to Become Cyborgs
Employees at Three Square Market, a vending services company that makes micro markets, will soon have the opportunity to become cyborgs.

Starting on Aug. 1, 2017, workers can opt in to getting a special microchip surgically implanted under their skin between the thumb and forefinger. The implant will take mere seconds, says the company's blog post, and it will allow employees to make purchases from the break room micro market, essentially a cluster of self-service vending machines and kiosks. Employees with the implant also will be able to open electronically locked doors and access computers without having to type a password.

Here are some fun crafts to do with your kids over the summer. My personal favorite? Number 8 – Crystal Names! I can't wait to do that one with my kids (who am I kidding, even if I didn't have kids I'd be doing this one). Although to all the sports enthusiasts - I'm sure number 22 will be a hit too!

Add these clever, colorful crafts and games to your cool-mom arsenal.
