The Institute for Human Services, Inc.'s Board of Directors is excited to announce that Belinda Hoad, MBA, has been named Executive Director, effective Jan. 4, 2021. Hoad stepped in for Jaclyn Woollett, PhD, who has held the position for three years.

In 2021, CCE Steuben are looking forward to a year of helping our local farmers be successful, supporting youth empowerment, and working with the community to be healthy via nutrition and financially.

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month and the Cancer Services Program (CSP) of Steuben, Allegany, Cattaraugus and Chautauqua Counties is taking this opportunity to educate women that cervical cancer is preventable with regular screening.

The Chemung County Habitat for Humanity seeks a full-time director with strong management, planning and leadership skills. Habitat for Humanity brings people together to achieve the goal of providing safe, decent and affordable housing to families in need.

Allegany Arc and The Arc of Steuben have officially merged, to become The Arc Allegany-Steuben. The two organizations began to explore a merger in 2019. After a thorough review and much consideration, the merger was approved by both Board of Directors as well as The Arc New York.

The Pro Action Resilient Children and Families Community Based programs look forward to continue serving families and children at our Family Resource Centers with safe,  scheduled drop-in times, purposeful play, fun winter activities, and more in 2021.

Tanglewood Nature Center and Museum is seeking a part-time Curator/Educator. The position is 25 hours/week/$13.00/hour/no benefits. Education/experience necessary includes 2 or 4-year science degree or vet tech (or similar) experience.

"It's Not Just Jenna" is a 27- minute documentary of a child sexual abuse survivor, followed by an open discussion of Jenna's story and the lessons it teaches about child sexual abuse and how to prevent it.
