IHS is hiring for the position of Benefits Advisor. This is a full-time, paid position with the Institute for Human Services, Inc. (IHS), a nonprofit organization located in Bath, N.Y. We need your help. Our volunteer drivers are reimbursed at the federal rate for mileage and other expenses incurred on the road including meals. This is a great opportunity for the newly retired person, seasonal worker, part-time worker or kind-hearted person in your life. Southern Tier Central Regional Planning & Development Board (STC) has commissioned a pair of online surveys for employers and workers in Chemung, Schuyler, and Steuben counties. These anonymous surveys ask detailed questions about the impacts of the COVID shutdowns, the re-opening process, and current barriers to full employment.

The agency celebrates the Thanksgiving holiday, continues its advocacy efforts for home care workers, highlights youth programming and the accomplishments of its dedicated staff in this edition of Connections.

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Steuben County is pleased to announce that they have raised over $15,680 from 129 donors for their FLXGives campaign for 2021 – Betty’s Dream.

Tanglewood thanks everyone who donated during FLXGives. It surpassed its goal and raised $3,686! Donations will go directly to supporting our animal ambassadors as well as our school programs and summer camps. Winter Wiggles and Tuesday drop-in events continue into 2022.
