Welcome to The Pulse! Please take a minute to check out what's happening at Church of the Apostles.
|
Please join your church in praying for the following requests for the life and mission of the church:
+ We have entered the season of Advent, which reminds us that Christ has come and he will come again to judge the world. Please pray for the hearts of every person in our church, that we would make room for Christ's coming, and invite others to open their hearts to him as well.
+ Please also pray these verses for our middle and high school students: "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:2
+ Pray for those who are sick and in need of healing in our church--for Gwen, Susanne, Lynn, Kade, John, Pat, Mike, Delores, Bennett, Luci, Mac, and any others who need healing and restoration of body and spirit.

The Women's Retreat Bake Sale as been POSTPONED! Save those goodies for Sunday, December 16. You name the price >>> all proceeds go towards the Women's Retreat {March 1-3} Scholarship Fund!

Plan to stay {or come early} for the Children's Ministry Christmas Pageant on December 16!

Invite friends and family to join us for one of our Christmas Eve Services on Monday, December 24th! The 3pm service will be our "kid-approved" drama, will 5pm and 11pm will be more a traditional services.

2018 GIVING RECORDS
Please note that gifts of securities and mutual funds must be transferred to, and received in, the Church's brokerage account by noon on Dec. 31, 2018 to be included with 2018 giving.
Because the church offices will be closed December 25 - 28, we are requesting that you make every effort to bring any year end gifts for the general offering during the services on December 23rd, 24th, and 31st, or simply mail them. Payments mailed and postmarked by December 31, 2018 will be reflected on your 2018 Giving Record. If your bank issues your payment, please allow plenty of time for our receipt by mail. You can always check your giving records by logging into Apostles Link. Click on the Give option in the left margin; go to Schedules/ History tab where you can see your history or print a Giving Statement for you or your family.
