PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
Please join your church in praying for the following requests for the life and mission of the church:

+ Please pray for our senior pastor Patrick and his wife Susan as they travel to Israel, first for a biblical sights tour, and then for Patrick as he continues on with the Global Anglican Future Conference. Pray that the tour will encourage and edify them, and that Patrick will be led by the Spirit as he participates in GAFCON.

+ Please pray also for our middle school students as they travel to Centrifuge Camp in Ridgecrest, NC next week, that they would grow closer in community with each other, and that they would take new steps of discipleship with Jesus in their lives. Pray for Paul Morales and Emily Gebbie as they lead the students.

+ Pray for our Mission Partner, The Encouraging Place, that their summer gatherings of women facing economic, emotional and spiritual challenges will truly encourage the women, help the to trust and follow Christ, and help their children to grow as disciples as well. Pray also for director, Reggie Edwards, that the Lord would provide an assistant for her to help with the administrative work of their ministry.

Dear brothers and sisters,

Please pray for Susan and me as we travel this week to Israel to tour the Holy Land. Susan will be returning after the tour while I stay on in Israel for the Global Anglican Future Conference (GAFCON). GAFCON meets every five years and was established during a crisis of leadership in the worldwide Anglican Communion. The conference seeks to equip and challenge the church for global mission and fidelity to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Please pray for the leadership, workshops, speakers, and all delegates to the conference. Pray that we might honor and glorify the Lord in everything.

For the glory of God in Jesus Christ,
Patrick and Susan

VBS 2018
Sunday, June 24 | 5-8pm
June 25 - 28 | 9am-12pm

We will venture onto an uncharted island where kids are rescued by Jesus!  They will be anchored in the truth that Jesus carries them through every storm in life.  They'll learn to hold onto God's promises when they are lonely, they worry, they struggle, do wrong, and feel powerless.  Each day at Shipwrecked VBS, kids travel through field-tested rotations that reinforce relevant Bible Points and immerse kids in new adventures.

NOTE for NON-MEMBERS:
To inquire about registering a child ages 4 and under who do not regularly attend worship at the Church of the Apostles, please contact Stacey Wiley {919-782-0550 x 22} to request registration information.
