Dr. Morant does't miss a beat
Dr. Kareem Morant brings a great deal of expertise and enthusiasm to his role as Director of the Graham & Audrey Rosenberg Family Cardiac Care Clinic at North York General Hospital. Since joining NYGH a little over a year ago, Dr. Morant's vision is grand and his energy infectious.

Dr. Morant is keen to establish North York General as a centre for excellence in all areas of cardiovascular medicine, including heart function specialties and advanced heart failure treatments

When two viruses collide: COVID and influenza
Flu season is around the corner and this year comes with yet another challenge in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In order to reduce the dual impact of these viruses on the population and to avoid an influx of people becoming ill with the flu and coronavirus, Dr. Kevin Katz, Medical Director, Infection Prevention and Control at North York General Hospital, knows it's more important than ever to get the flu shot.
 
Research Spotlight: Advancing our understanding and ability to treat COVID-19
North York Genarl has launched several COVID-19 clinical and research studies, involving multiple frontline physicians and staff members from different programs across the hospital to advance our understanding and ability to treat this virus. 

Dr. Eneko Arhanchiague, a physician in the Division of General Internal Medicine; Dr Elad Mei-Dan, a physician in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology; and Mona Sawhney, a nurse practitioner in the Surgery Program provide a snapshot of their COVID-19 studies, as well as their thoughts on the future of this disease.
