Welcome to The Pulse! Please check out what's happening at Church of the Apostles.
PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
Please join your church in praying for the following requests for the life and mission of the church:
+ Pray for tonight's discussion at Apostles on the topic of loving our neighbor courageously in the reality of cultural and ethnic differences.
{
Choosing Courage + Love in a World Divided | 7pm}
+ Pray for our students going through Confirmation class, that they would ask questions about God and grow in their knowledge and love of him.
+ Pray for your neighbors, that God would give the opportunity to share and show the love of Christ with them.
Division is nothing new and yet many of us feel ill-equipped to bridge the numerous divides in our current culture. Join us for a evening of discussion as we hear from two authors,
Amy Julia Becker and Natasha Sistrunk Robinson, who have spent a lot of time on this topic, and reflecting on what Jesus means when he calls us to "love our neighbors"--regardless of our own social,
ethnic, religious, or cultural background.

Come. Pause. Catch up with folks. Lift your gaze to the One who holds it all together and who holds us in his mighty hands. Join together to pray for our church and the people of Apostles and to break bread.
Drop in between 5-7pm for our annual pancake supper ~ pancakes, fresh fruit and tasty sausage fresh from the grill! What is Shrove Tuesday? Shrove Tuesday occurs the first Tuesday before Ash Wednesday. It comes from the old English custom of using up all the fattening ingredients in the house, so that people were ready to fast during Lent.
break bread together, learn something new, meet new friends, delve deeper with old friends
