AAPHC's Legislative Breakfast was a Success!

Shelley Spires, AAPHC CEO; Senator Freddie Powell Sims; and Dr. Dianna Grant, Phoebe CMO

What a Great Event to Showcase AAPHC and Our Team

Albany Area Primary Health Care (AAPHC) hosted our Annual Legislative Breakfast on Tuesday, August 8, at 8 a.m. at the Flint RiverQuarium in Albany, Georgia.

This annual event is timed to take place during National Health Centers Week, which is a celebration of the nation’s 1400 Community Health Centers (CHCs) located across the United States. It’s also an opportunity for AAPHC to provide a “State of the Union” update on our organization and how we serve the insured, uninsured and underinsured of Southwest Georgia.

State and local Legislators, along with key community leaders, attended the Legislative Breakfast to celebrate Southwest Georgia’s Community Health Center – AAPHC.

Baker County's Back-to-School Bash

AAPHC's Baker County Team recently participated in the Back-to-School Bash at Baker County School. The children and parents were very thankful of everything, especially the school supplies.

"We would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Joyce Neal and Dr. Frances Ferguson for their contribution. And, thank you to AAPHC as well!," says Carlotta Coleman, Practice Manager, Baker County.

Kudos to the Team

Thank You LaToni Robinson, Wade Roach, Darius Murphy & James Sellers!

"On Tuesday we hosted our Annual Legislative Breakfast at the Flint RiverQuarium and it definitely took a team to pull things together for such a special event.

A huge thank you to LaToni Robinson for coordinating the event with me. She did so much behind-the-scenes with the vendors and organizing all the details! Plus, she was such a huge help setting up the event and cleaning up everything with me afterwards. I could not have done it without her!

Also, a major shout-out to Wade Roach for ALWAYS being there for when we need him. He was such a huge help in picking up supplies so that LaToni and I could be at the event to set-up.

Last, but definitely not least, a big thank you to Darius Murphy and James Sellers for coming back after the event to help us with clean-up. Your help was greatly, greatly appreciated and saved us from what probably was disaster with those food trays and everything else.

It truly does take team work to make the dream work. So thankful for all of you!"
