PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
Please join your church in praying for the following requests for the life and mission of the church:
+ Please pray for Jay Traylor, our Church Planter in Residence, that as he goes to a church planting training Thu-Sat, the Lord would further equip and strengthen him for the work to which he has called Jay and Elizabeth and their new son Gus!
+ Pray for all in our church who are in need of healing from illness, family brokenness, anxiousness or loss, that the Lord would meet them and carry them through.
+ Pray for our men as they gather this Saturday evening for a cookout, that they would be brought together in fellowship and build deeper bonds of brotherhood and friendship.

Considering membership at Church of the Apostles? Want to learn more about who we are? Join us for the next Discovering Apostles Class on Saturday, September 8 from 9am-12pm.
Come for a full day of teaching and skill building designed for parents and rooted in God's word, presented by House of Hope. We believe that God has a heart for families and that he is able to equip parents for the task of leading and guiding their children into successful Christian lives.
There are several Women's Bible Studies beginning soon for fall! These studies meet on various times and days, so there is something for everyone! Check them out ~
DETAILS + SIGN UP
We are inviting all students, rising 6th grade-rising seniors to join us on Wednesday, August 22 as we head over to Greensboro for the day to enjoy a day at the Wet and Wild water park. Cost is $30, but you will also need to bring some money for lunch/snacks in the park.
We will meet at the church at 8:30am and will arrive back at church by 6:30 pm that evening.
