| The Opioid Abatement Fund Council has announced the availability of up to $25 million across all regions for competitive, short-term Community-based Opioid Recovery Effort grants for one-time awards or projects expected to last less than a year that fall within any Council-approved category and strategy. The firm deadline to apply is Thursday, May 29 by 2 pm. | | |
NEW! Request for Applications: Texas Alzheimer’s Research and Care Consortium
| TARCC has announced its 2025 Request for Applications to support innovative, translational based research in Texas and to ensure well-trained basic and translational researchers and clinician-scientists are available in Texas to aid in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. Applications from junior investigators and projects that reflect cutting-edge science that will provide pilot data for larger proposals are particularly of interest. Applications are due July 15 by 5pm. | | |

2025 UT System AI Symposium: Call for Abstracts Extended
The deadline has been extended to April 18 for researchers, clinicians, educators, students, and administrators across the UT system to submit abstracts on diverse applications of AI. The symposium will be in Houston May 15-16. Learn more on their website.
