It is with great pleasure that we celebrated the graduation of 39 psychiatry learners on June 6, 2025. The Class of 2025 included 14 general psychiatry graduates, 3 internal medicine-psychiatry combined graduates, and 3 child and adult psychiatry combined (fast track) graduates, as well as 5 addiction, 8 child and adolescent, 2 consultation/liaison, 2 forensic, and 2 geriatric psychiatry fellowship graduates, making it one of the largest graduating classes in the US.
What a privilege it is for our department to have been the training home of these new psychiatry colleagues. It was also an opportunity to meet and thank the families of the new graduates whose support was crucial for this accomplishment. Last but not least, it was also an occasion to witness the joy and pride of our education leaders, and to thank them and all our teaching faculty members for their dedication to the career of our new colleagues. Led by Dr. Adam Brenner, it was heartwarming to hear the testimonies for each of our unique graduates.
Congratulations, Class of 2025! We look forward to seeing your careers flourish!
Cheers,
Tarek K. Rajji, M.D.
