Welcoming Sheila Coleman
To Alameda Center!

We are delighted to introduce Sheila Coleman as our new Administrator.

A healthcare professional involved in the long term care arena since 1986, Sheila holds an LNHA License in the states of New Jersey and New York and boasts a strong background in social work. Sheila takes pride in being a hands-on administrator who makes sure to be on the floor daily, interacting with Alameda residents and staff. A mentor who leads by example, she is dedicated to fostering a positive patient experience and encourages every staff member to do their job well and with the utmost integrity.

We are confident that her outstanding leadership abilities and team-building skills will be a great asset to our center.

Walking the Red Carpet
At Alameda Center
Celebrating Another Rehab Success Story
When Steven Laveroni first came to Alameda Center he could hardly stand - never mind walk. Within a mere 6 weeks of intense and compassionate therapy, he was back to himself and excited to return home to his cherished daily living routines.

At our gala send-off ceremony, Steven walked down the red carpet to the cheers of Alameda's supportive staff and graciously accepted his rehab diploma surrounded by his dedicated team of therapists. Since his discharge, he has been in touch with his new family and friends at Alameda to keep up with latest news and gossip, and to express his thanks.

Bringing the Benefits of Pet Therapy
To Our Residents

Pet Therapy is growing trend that has proven to be tremendously beneficial - mentally, emotionally and even physically! Interaction with these furry friends can boost one's general health and wellbeing, especially in seniors.

Alameda Center hosts a visit from The Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs every Wednesday. These animals provide unconditional love and much-needed companionship, and our residents and staff adore them.
