Introducing Sandra Keffer:
Alameda's New Director of Nursing

A consummate professional with 25+ years of experience in subacute and long term care, Sandra's clinical expertise comes through at every point of interaction.

A genuine people person, Sandra was impressed from the get-go with Alameda's staff of nurses - their caliber, wide array of cultural backgrounds, and the many languages in which they easily communicate with the patients.

Meet Thomas Pine,  Subacute Patient

"I was treated the best I've been treated in my life at Alameda Center!

Alameda is the most peaceful place in today's world. Right from the beginning of my stay, the staff's pleasant attitude set an aura of calmness throughout the building. They demonstrate such great care for the residents ... From housekeeping to nursing, all the way up to the administrator - the staff is full of understanding and compassion."

Celebrating CNA Week at Alameda

Known as "the first line of defense" in skilled nursing settings, we are extremely proud of Alameda's staff of Certified Nursing Assistants. Usually the first to greet the residents each morning, it is their warmth and professionalism that earns their trust.

Delivering direct care to patients and assisting them with bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming, etc. as directed by the RN and our DON, their main responsibility is to always maintain our patients' comfort and safety. Indispensable throughout the recovery process, we salute them and commend them for their dedication to our patients.
