Lessons Learned in Business Resilience

Accenture’s Global Disruption Index — designed to measure the impact of economic, social, geopolitical, climate, consumer and technological challenges — found that the overall level of disruption increased 200% in the past five years. In comparison, the disruption level rose by only 4% from 2011 to 2016.
On top of that, a recent Accenture business resilience study found that only 15% of companies were able to maintain profitable growth during disruptive events. This small group of resilient organizations provides a guide to the key characteristics and strategies that set them apart.
What does this research delineate? Accenture's research shows that organizations with diverse talent and an innovation mindset are six times more likely to drive innovation.
The takeaway is that it is important to identify areas of strength and weakness in our businesses so that we can learn from them and address business resiliency holistically. By embracing these strategies, we as leaders can navigate uncertainty and position our organizations for resilience and growth in the age of disruption.

That's a Wrap! 2023 Rising Leaders Program Receives Excellent Reviews | |

The WICT Network held its fourth and final 2023 Rising Leaders Program (RLP) session November 13-17 in San Diego, CA. During this week-long, intensive immersion program, participants took part in leadership analysis and case study work while expanding their professional networks. 2023 BMGI & BMLI Programs Convened for Three Days of Learning, Connection and Celebration in

The gathering in Los Angeles represented the second training for 2023-24 BMLI program participants. Both cohorts, Classes 48 and 49, will conclude their program year in May 2024. BMLI graduates return to their companies with enhanced leadership skills and a renewed vision of their strengths and goals – they serve as the next generation of executive leaders who will transform our industry.
The WICT Network is now accepting applications for the 2024-25 BMLI program!
The next BMLI application cycle is now open. HR approval forms are due Thursday, January 25, 2024, and applications are due by Friday, February 9, 2024.
