Guardian Health Services is based in Hickory, NC and provides nursing care, home health aides, and therapy services. It was acquired by LifePoint Health, a subsidiary of RCCH HealthCare Partners, for an undisclosed amount.

Over $900.7M in MOB Transactions for November 2018

Eighty one medical office building transactions closed in November, totaling over $900.7 million or 2.9 million square feet. Texas had the most medical office building transactions with 10 (11.8% of total), followed by Illinois with 8 sales (9.4% of total). The average deal size was $11.8 million.
From Amazon and Apple opening clinics to Uber launching a medical transit program, technology giants spent 2018 moving into the health care space. Many of these initiatives are still in very early stages, but they'll continue to grow in 2019, and some of them may have an impact on Americans' health care experiences as soon as this year.
