Class of 2021: Graduation Day is Almost Here!
Our virtual Commencement Ceremony is just around the corner! Commencement will be streamed Friday, May 7th, at 4PM MDT on Burrell College's Facebook page.

Burrell College Opens Beck's at the Bear Den!
This month, Burrell College re-opened the Bear Den lounge with an exciting update, its own branch of Beck’s Coffee. Beck’s at the Bear Den is a collaborative project between the college and Beck’s Roasting House and Creamery. Students, faculty, and staff can expect to enjoy freshly brewed coffee and other beverages, artisanal ice cream, fresh-baked pastries, and other snack items, including vegan options. 
From Patient to Provider: Medical Student Will Train in Hospital that Helped Save Her Life
Class of 2021 graduate, Amanda Chavarria was born at Vista Hills Medical Center in February 1993. Shortly after her birth, Amanda’s parents were informed by medical staff that she had fallen ill and was failing to thrive. Amanda spent several days at Vista Hills, during which she received extensive care.
Twenty-eight years later, Amanda is about to graduate from the Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine, and will be pursuing her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the same hospital she spent her first, tumultuous days of life in, now known as Las Palmas Del Sol hospital.
Burrell Psychiatry Club Nationally Recognized Under PsychSIGN
Burrell's Psychiatry Club has been nationally recognized as a chapter of the Psychiatry Student Interest Group Network, PsychSIGN. As a result, the club has been renamed Burrell PsychSIG (Psychiatry Student Interest Group). Membership in PsychSIGN will open up networking opportunities and increase our psychiatry club's awareness among both osteopathic and allopathic medical schools.

Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine's Admissions Director, Courtney Lewis, has been elected as Secretary of the Council of Osteopathic Medical Admissions Officers (COMAO) under the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM). Congratulations, Courtney!
