Happy Halloween - All is winding down now, hope you've had a spooktacular and safe evening!

I've loved catching up with so many of you while on the Pumpkin Trail this month --- in all stages of life ever-changing: newly-weds, new babies and grand-babies, new jobs, and businesses, newly-retired ---the full gamut. A highlight this year was meeting a 99 yr old WWII Navy fighter pilot; that was special!

Almost 15 tons of pumpkins went out to homes and through donations to schools and non-profits. Every year it grows. Am so immensely grateful to all the helpers, those new to pumpkin-giving, and those who renewed! --- A special thank you to Laura Williams for all her time and energy!

Former Pumpkin Helpers Revisit

The three gals in these photos knew the Pumpkin Truck when they were kids! The two young men in the left-hand photos had some fun memories of visits from the time they were young boys. Love when they bring their children out and reminisce.

Happy to report that all our pumpkins went to good homes!

NOTE: Check out the Nov 10th issue of the new Reston paper, The Reston Letter - they are doing a writeup on the Pumpkin Truck!
