Join our MLS TEAM! Position Available

We are currently taking applications for the position of 3rd grade classroom teacher. We are looking for someone who has an appreciation for the energy that a 3rd grade classroom exudes, and a love for sharing Christ! A background in classical education is helpful, but we are willing to help any candidate learn more about how this model works. Candidates need to have a current ND teaching license. If interested, please visit our website to apply, as well as emailing the School Office

"Gosh, I wish we could get out the word about Martin Luther School..."

"How can we get our name out in the community?..."

"I mentioned Martin Luther School to a friend. They had never heard of it!?"

"We really have been blessed with Martin Luther. What can we do to help it grow?

In our 30 years of existence, these comments continue to ring true. After the middle school meeting last week, it was heartening and encouraging to receive validation on where we are, as well as advice for what we need to do to grow. This is an EASY first step for marketing.

It's easy, convenient, free, yet, oh, so helpful.

Many parents currently in our community and those planning to relocate here are searching for options for their children for their education. What is one place to which people often turn when searching such things? Why, GOOGLE, of course! They "Google" it.

We are missing out on a great marketing opportunity that is painless, effective, and free! Simply "Google" Martin Luther School, go to reviews and share a review. (this seems to work better on a laptop than on a phone.) The more reviews we have also improves our visibility through Google.

Greatschools.org is also another site where you are able to leave a review.

Please take the opportunity to leave a review, if you like, and share the blessing of Martin Luther School!

FOOD FROM THE HEART FOOD DRIVE

For the month of February, MLS students in grades 5-8 are organizing a food pantry drive for our LCMS churches that have Free Little Pantries at their locations. As a school, our goal is to fill the “heart” near the south door entrance with all the donated items provided by students, their families, and LCMS church members. Be sure to stop by and watch our heart grow during the month! The students have created some fun theme days for the month—pick and choose which to do OR bring an item every day…we appreciate all donations!

Mayfest update:

Your child should have received a manilla envelope on Friday that will be able to fill you in on all things MAYFEST. Information about this was elaborated on at the "3M" meeting this past Thursday evening.

  • I celebrate the insightful conversation that took place at this meeting.
  • We also had a few key roles filled as some of our retiree volunteers are stepping aside from some very important tasks.
  • Take a look and see how you can help this vital event be a success for Martin Luther School!

REMIND

School communications will be sent to all parents who are signed up for Remind. This will be used in addition to email. We realize that people may not check their emails on a regular basis and maybe missing information from the school. Please make sure you have downloaded the remind app and signed up with the information in the picture on the left. Make sure notifications for Remind are turned on so you don't miss anything.
