Trainer Resources - to support your thinking!

The Pyramid Model Team knows that Session 8 (Creating a Functional Behavior Plan) of the 8 Part PM Training can feel tricky to facilitate and we are committed to helping you feel comfortable presenting the content. During a breakout group during the Supporting Families Together Association’s (SFTA) Annual YoungStar Meeting, Julie Betchkal will be providing resources and information to help folks better understand and train Session 8 . Also, below are some resources that might be helpful as you think about how to help your participants reflect on the “why” of challenging behavior and come up with strategies that prevent, teach and reinforce!

New Trainer Process
Is your agency interested in increasing the number of Pyramid Model Trainers or e-Modules Reflective Coaches available to provide training? We have a process to ensure that Wisconsin’s PM Trainers/Coaches are providing the best training possible AND we would like to support you through that process!

For questions about becoming a Pyramid Model Trainer please contact Becky Buck at bbbuck@wiaimh.org.
Online Pyramid Model Training is Available!
The Wisconsin Pyramid Model Team has worked to ensure access to online Pyramid Model Training in Wisconsin through the development of 2 Pyramid Model e-Module courses (Birth to Five and Preschool). Wisconsin Alliance for Infant Mental Health (WI-AIMH) is supporting new e-Modules Reflective Coaches so there is access to Pyramid Model online training throughout the state now and in the future.
. Those interested in becoming e-Module Trainers need to have had previous experience training the 8 Part Pyramid Model Series. If you have any questions or needs related to providing e-Modules Online Pyramid Model Training please contact Becky Buck (PM Regional Lead and PM Training Coordinator) at bbuck@wiaimh.org.
