The Quadro® Comil® Underdriven Series has the same capabilities as the Overdriven, but its compact, inline design allows for easy integration into processing environments.
The Underdriven Comil®'s smaller footprint, inline design and extremely short head height provide for easy integration into processing environments where space is limited. A large-diameter infeed and "straight through" housing promote unhindered inline product flow for quicker discharge.
Typical applications include:
- Granulation of dry powders
- Uniform sizing of wet granulation after high shear granulators in oral solid dosage tablet manufacturing
- Size reducing and milling of wet or soaked products to produce liquid with wet suspended particulates
- Powders into paste
- Wet blending
- Lump-free homogenous blending to precise size requirements
- Reducing sticky agglomerates into uniform-size powders
