| | In March, you celebrated the role models, mentors, directors, singers, and friends who have made a lasting impact on your journey and on barbershop music with a gift to the In Honor Of program. | | Did you know? Some of the most meaningful gifts don’t just make an impact today—they help shape the future for generations. | | |
At our March 26 Virtual Education Event, 50-year member Barbara A. Nielsen brought that idea to life, sharing about her remarkable barbershop singingjourney and her $500,000 USD legacy gift, creating an endowment to support judge scholarships, education, and training for years to come!
Estate planning expert Amanda Ferrari also offered thoughtful guidance on how you can care for your loved ones while leaving a lasting gift to the organization you love.
We invite you to watch this informative event!

The Pitch Pipe (April 2026)
The April issue of The Pitch Pipe is all about learning! Meet our new International Board of Directors members, hear what it’s like for judges to compete, get tips and ideas for performing at senior living communities, and so much more. And, as always, keep up with what’s going on in the world of SingUnited International!
| | |
In early 2020, Sweet Adelines International made the decision to stop publishing hard copies of The Pitch Pipe magazine. The rising cost of printing and postage has made printing and mailing the magazine unsustainable. A digital-only format helps the organization continue investing in programs, education, and musical experiences. A digital-only format also acknowledges the need to be environmentally responsible by reducing paper use, waste, and the impact of shipping.
We understand that reading on a screen isn’t everyone’s preference, and we want you to know that we hear you. Every issue is available on our digital platform, ISSUU, where you can read online or download a full PDF to save or print for your own use. We’re also actively exploring a print-on-demand option, and we’ll share updates as we have them.
| | |
The International Update provides an overview of the most recent International Board of Directors (IBOD) accomplishments and items for communication to members.

| | New to your inbox: Emails from the international organization will now come from @singunited.org instead of @sweetadelines.com. | | |
