A Message From Our Founder

Dear Fresno Music Academy and Arts Community,

It is with very mixed emotions that we announce the departure of our beloved Office Manager, Alison Lanford, as she embarks on a new and exciting chapter in her journey. Allison has been an integral part of our team, bringing dedication, warmth, and a wealth of knowledge to our organization. The good news is that Allison will still be around FMAA teaching vocal and piano lessons and helping with Showcases and other special events. While we are sad to see her go as our office manager, we are also thrilled for the opportunities that lie ahead for her. Her contributions have left a lasting impact on our school, and we express our deepest gratitude for the positive energy she has brought to the Fresno Music Academy & Arts. We are confident that this change will bring new possibilities and growth to our school. Thank you, Allison, for your outstanding service and commitment.

As we bid farewell to Allison, we also eagerly anticipate the dawn of a new chapter for the Fresno Music Academy of Arts. Change brings both challenges and opportunities, and we are excited to embrace the latter with open hearts and minds.

We are thrilled to announce that Emily Kearns and Camille Gaston, both familiar faces

I am sure, will be stepping up as co-managers to lead our team into the future. Emily will take charge at our Tower location, bringing her expertise and passion to continue fostering a vibrant musical community. Simultaneously, Camille will spearhead operations at our North location, ensuring a seamless transition and upholding the high standards of excellence we hold dear. Their dedication, combined with their unique skills, makes them a dynamic duo poised to guide our school through this exciting new chapter. We have full confidence in their leadership and look forward to witnessing the continued success and growth under their capable direction. Join us in welcoming Emily and Camille to their new roles as we collectively embark on this journey together.

Let us not forget the rest of our amazing and dedicated support staff that play a pivotal role to ensure the seamless functioning of our schools. I’m sure you all know by now, Tori Santiago who will be primarily stationed at our north location, Bri Villanueva Hardcastle who will assist primarily at our Tower location and Michael Kobata who helps out at the Tower location on Saturdays. Together, their dedication and commitment significantly contributes to the success and harmony within our team. We deeply appreciate their hard work and the positive impact they have on our daily operations.

As the owner, founder, and director of our beloved academy, my utmost priority has always been the well-being of our students, parents, teachers, and staff. I am 100 percent confident that Emily and Camille and the team, will guide this transition with ease and efficiency.

Your satisfaction and comfort during this period of change are of the utmost importance to me. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the transition or any other matter related to the academy, please do not hesitate to reach out. I am here and available to address your needs, and your feedback is invaluable as we navigate this new chapter together. Feel free to call or email me, and let's continue working together to maintain the happy and healthy environment that defines Fresno Music Academy and Arts.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

Peace,

Debi Ruud

Never heard of it?

Rogue Festival champions the gritty, got-something-to-say outlook of the independent performer and Fresno, California's Tower District. By connecting art, artist, and audience in a non-curated, non-adjudicated fringe festival every year, Rogue Festival honors those who speak their truth, challenge the status quo, and perform audaciously – creating a distinctly forward-thinking culture as it goes.
