CAIS Alum Virtual Focus Group
Kimberly BROOKER Carter'96, fellow alum and Executive Director of Enrolment at Brankosme Hall needs your help. We are in the final stages of having our CAIS Accreditation renewed and have been asked to arrange an Alum focus group to learn about your experiences and engagement with Branksome since graduating. The Alum Association is excited to announce Branksome’s first Family Swim Day! Get your swimsuits ready and save the date for a family-friendly event on February 26 from 12:30 to 3:00 p.m. ET.
WHAT’S HAPPENING
We are going back on the road and will be hosting Alum receptions in London, UK and New York City in 2023. Save the dates and look out for registration details in the new year. We are in London, UK on April 16-17 and in New York City on May 3-4.

Overcoming the Odds
Isabel LIEBERMAN Langsdorf’56 enjoyed a happy Grade 12 year as a boarding student at Branksome, despite a perilous start in life that nearly ended when she was a toddler. She was born in 1937 in Frankfurt, Germany to a Jewish mother who gave her up for adoption, and spent her first two years in the Jewish Women’s League Home in Neu-Isenburg.

Rachel Simmons was at Branksome Hall in October and spoke about ways for parents to encourage and support autonomy and independence in their children, and how parents can self-regulate when they disagree with the decisions their children make.
