The Young Alum Achievement Award: Celebrating those aged 40 or younger who have showcased leadership and character in creating positive change.

BRANKSOME MATH STAR FINDING HER PLACE IN THE TECH WORLD... AND ON THE ALUM DONOR WALL

Alexa VASILAKOS’20 is the latest member of our generous alum community to secure her place on the new Alum Donor Wall. Alexa cites her decision to take Computer Studies in Grade 9 as the moment her journey towards the tech industry began. With Alexa now an app developer at CIBC, she acknowledges the opportunities and encouragement she received at Branksome, which helped uncover her passion for innovation. With her place on the Alum Donor Wall, Alexa wants to help create more opportunities in innovation and technology for other students within the Karen L. Jurjevich Innovation Centre and Studio Theatre (iCAST).

Hockey Day at Branksome Hall Podcast Episode

Grace McCallum is joined by Branksome Hockey coach Jenna Kelly and three talented Grade 12 hockey players—Tara, Mackenzie and Jessie—at Toronto’s historic Mattamy Athletic Centre, just minutes before the puck drops at the school’s much-anticipated annual Hockey Day.

Leadership Launchpad

In February 200 energetic and eager Grade 5 students from around the city gathered for the inaugural Leadership Launchpad Conference. It was a day full of inspirational guest panels, whole- and small-group workshops and engaging activities focused on building leadership and problem-solving skills to prepare them to be role models in Grade 6.
