SENIOR LEADERSHIP DEPARTURES

We wanted to share our heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to two beloved faculty members taking next steps in their professional journeys. Dr. Siamak Boroomand (Dr. B), Assistant Head, Student Experience, Grades 9–10, is heading out west to Vancouver, where he will take on the role of Deputy Head of School at King David High School. Amanda Kennedy (Ms. Kennedy), Deputy Principal, will be joining Holy Trinity School in Richmond Hill as their new Head of School.

Siamak and Amanda’s last day at Branksome will be June 30. While we will miss them both, we know they will continue to inspire wherever they go.

DR. YASMIN RAZACK APPOINTED HEAD, DIVERSITY, EQUITY, & INCLUSION

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Yasmin Razack as Branksome Hall’s new Head, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI). Dr. Razack joins our Senior Leadership Team, effective August 5, and will play a pivotal role in leading the school’s strategic vision and planning initiatives to continue building an inclusive environment, aligning with Branksome’s mission and values.

With more than 20 years of progressive experience in senior leadership roles, most recently as Dean of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (EDIB) at Humber College, Yasmin has focused on building belonging and community inclusiveness across distinct educational institutions. Her strategic vision, collaborative approach and commitment to fostering inclusive environments will be a tremendous asset to Branksome Hall.

Monday–Thursday from 8:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

$75.00 a session. Packages of five.

On April 4, 2025, the Senior & Middle School community came together for Branksome Hall’s first-ever Culture Day—a vibrant, around-the-world celebration of culture, food, tradition and storytelling. Students and employees set up booths representing various countries and cultures, offering the community a chance to explore and learn in a dynamic and engaging way.
