Last Chance to Register!
Next Friday, October 27, at 6:00 PM, Ridgecroft will be the place to be as the junior class hosts its First Annual Fall Festival and Cornhole Tournament. Registration for the tournament has been extended to Wednesday, October 25. Registration forms are available
here or in the front office. In addition to the tournament ($20/team), the festival will feature a haunted house, a cakewalk, face painting, games, and concessions, including hamburgers and hot dogs. We hope the entire school community will come out to celebrate this exciting new tradition!

Sweet and Scary
The Ridgecroft Beta Clubs are selling $1 Halloween Candygrams to be delivered to students on Halloween. Send your student a sweet surprise or treat an entire class! Order forms are available in the front office and orders are due by Friday, October 27.

Local Talent on Display
The halls of Ridgecroft will transform into an art gallery with the arrival of the Ridgecroft Art Show, to be held on campus November 1-3. The work of numerous local and regional artists will be on display and available for sale. The show will open with a Meet the Artist reception with wine and appetizers on Wednesday, November 1, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, and will continue Thursday and Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Local artist Laura Beasley, a member of the Ridgecroft Class of 1975, will be the show's featured artist. Art makes great gifts, so this is the perfect opportunity to get a head start on your holiday shopping!

Lunch with Santa and Christmas Concert |
New Spin on a Ridgecroft Tradition!
On December 1, Ridgecroft's Annual Christmas Concert will combine with the traditional Lunch with Santa and Christmas Bazaar to create a festive holiday spectacular! The concert, featuring lower school students and the Ridgecroft Bands, will take place at 10:00 AM that morning. More details will follow, but please mark your calendars for this exciting day!

Fresh, Fragrant, and Festive!
The PTO's Christmas Greenery sale is in full swing! This fresh greenery comes from the mountains of North Carolina and will arrive on December 1, just in time for holiday decorating! Wreaths ranging from 20" to 50" and swags and garland of various lengths are available for purchase. Orders are due November 1 and can be given to any PTO member or turned in to the front office.

The annual Scholastic Book Fair will be held in the media center October 31 to November 3. There will be books for all ages, so please send a little extra money to school with your student or plan to stop by to shop. Remember, books make great gifts! This year, we will also have an online book fair, so you can shop from home! Visit www.scholastic.com/fair to get started. We still need volunteers for the book fair, so please contact April Lassiter or Jerrie Taylor if you are able to help.

Mr. Roboto
On Wednesday, October 18, students enjoyed a robotics presentation sponsored by the PTO. During an interactive journey from simple robots to complex humanoid robots, students explored STEM concepts and learned about electricity, programming, motors, and feedback loops. Thanks to the PTO for providing another informative and entertaining enrichment program!
