Weekly Updates and Highlights

August 26, 2020
Documents, forms, and resources that parents may need throughout the year have been moved from SchoolSpeak to our school website. Our Current Families tab has everything from supply lists to nurse forms ready for parents to use as needed. Also, parents will be on-boarded to Digital Academy with their logins and passwords later this week.

The COVID sick policy has been approved by the diocese and our medical task force. Please review the St. Paul School Illness Policy attached here. Please contact Betsy Johnson, M.S., R.N., L.S.N., School Nurse at 614-882-6892 or via email to report your child’s illness and/or absence from school. Please keep ill students home.

Mark your calendars! Seasonal flu vaccines for St. Paul faculty, staff, and students will be held on September 29 and September 30 during school hours. Watch future Ram Reports for more information and sign-up forms.
Just a quick update regarding the After-School Care Enrichment (ACE) Program:

  • We will be starting on Friday, September 4, 2020, 2:35-6:00 pm

  • This year, ACE will be located in the Lower Level Rooms LL#411, LL#412 and LL#413.
Students who still have library books from last spring should bring them to school and put them in the book return bin located outside the Library Learning Commons (LLC) near the nurse’s office. Please put the books in the slot one at a time to avoid contact with the surface.

The LLC will continue to check-out books this year. We will use safety procedures including hand sanitizing both before and after looking for books. Miss Beverage will come to the classrooms with bins of books from which students may choose. All returned books will be quarantined for three days before being checked out again. Students will also have access to ebook and eaudiobooks through the school and public libraries. That process will be rolled out in a few weeks after school begins. Any questions? Contact Miss Beverage via email at
The Parent Q&A Sessions were well attended last week. If you were unable to participate, the Zoom videos for both sessions are linked here: Grades K-4 session, Grades 5-8 session. For your convenience, we have also included the slideshow discussed in the videos.
