Happy Hour @ Parry's Pizza

Earlier this week, we held our first happy hour event of 2025 at Parry's Pizza! With the excellent weather, several Painted Tree residents came out to enjoy the good food and a good time with neighbors. This was also a fundraising event for the ManeGait Therapeutic Horseback Riding Center. A check for 20% of the proceeds from Painted Tree orders will be sent to ManeGait later this week.

We had two lucky winners of $50 Parry's Pizza gift cards. Congratulations to Rosemarie Cidmonte and David Tillett!

Thank you to everyone who attended. We look forward to the next Community Happy Hour in April.

"When will the pool open?"

Our current warm weather has many thinking about taking a dip in the pool! We are currently preparing for pool season by hiring a pool monitoring company, taking care of any necessary repairs, and purchasing any needed items.

The Village Trailhead pool will open in early May, weather permitting. The anticipated opening of the new Lakeside pool is Memorial Day weekend.

Spring Break Activities

Get ready for a week of Spring Break fun! Join us Monday through Thursday, March 17-21, for a variety of creative crafts—each day will bring a new and exciting project for the kids enjoy. Then, on Friday, we’ll wrap up the week with an epic Foam Party! Bring your friends, get crafty, and finish off Spring Break with a foamy, bubbly blast. Don’t miss out on the fun!

Last year, we could only accommodate a maximum of 20 kids per day, so this year, we have added an additional session per day, allowing us to accommodate at least 40 kids per day, depending on the craft. We also have additional volunteer help with the activities.

The Outpost Amenity Center

They are making excellent progress this month with landscaping, interior finishes, etc. at the Outpost Amenity Center. We are still anticipating opening in April, pending any setbacks with the city of McKinney.

Lakeside Trailhead Amenity Center

We are anticipating a Memorial Day opening of this new amenity center with a pool, covered pavilion, playground, and trail access.

For information on construction projects throughout the community, click on the "Full Construction Report" to see past updates.

All target dates are only projections. Like building a home, the development team runs into roadblocks that prevent construction such as city requirements, weather, or product availability. All items will be completed, but we ask for your patience as we construct these great amenities that will be useful for years to come!

This courtroom drama, adapted from Reginald Rose’s teleplay "12 Angry Men," unfolds in a tense jury room as 12 jurors grapple with the weighty responsibility of determining a young defendant’s fate. The play delves into themes of justice, prejudice, and human fallibility, making it as thought-provoking as it is riveting.
