“Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?”

37 He said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’

38 This is the greatest and first commandment.

We're basically done with the first quarter of the year. Let that sink in.

Here is what's on the itinerary for the first two weeks in May!

Church News

Welcome Howard “Howie” Ashley

An announcement from the Staff-Parish Relations Committee:

We are grateful to welcome Howard “Howie” Ashley, who will begin serving with us in August as our Children and Youth Spiritual Formation and Engagement Coordinator.

Howie brings a heart for ministry, a background in Special Education, and experience in both church and camp settings. He has a passion for helping children and youth be known, nurtured, and grow in their faith.

This fall, he will begin studies at Candler School of Theology at Emory University as he continues to follow God’s call in his life.

Howie will be with us May 9–15, joining us in worship and spending time in the life of our church.

We look forward to welcoming him and walking alongside him as a church family.
