The ReMarks

August 20, 2025

Good Morning friend,

This Sunday is the second to last Sunday after Pentecost.

Which is impressive considering Pentecost was so long ago that we've changed worship spaces, sermon series, and at least two cartridges of ink since then.

This Sunday we'll hear about the welcome of Jesus from the book of Luke.

Luke 15: 1-8

Thank you from the Worship Committee

You did it!

You lifted your voice up to the Lord in song.

You helped set up the fabulous lunch on the grounds and then helped take it down.

You moved tables, chairs, kneelers, Bibles, hymnals, wrapped plastic, rolled carts, pulled wagons.

The sanctuary is ready for the construction crew to do their magic. And the Chapel and Wade Hall will be our worship spaces.

As we left the sanctuary yesterday afternoon, we turned and felt the stillness of that room.

We are blessed that the saints who went before us left such a wonderful worship space.

It is beautiful with nothing in it.

The only thing it needs is you.

And you were there yesterday. Participating in the ministries of the church. By prayer, presence, gifts, service, witness.

It was a beautiful day at Saint Mark.

You did it!

Thank you.
