Matthew 5:14-16

Faith is meant to be visible. Jesus calls us to live our lives in visible ways – not so people will admire us, but so they see the goodness of God reflected through our lives. Aligned with Atlanta Pride’s theme, Louder and Prouder (a celebration of visibility, authenticity, and the power of community), our October sermon series, Living Out Loud, invites us to reflect on and step into living out our faith in visible and authentic ways.

This series will shape our living as we pursue faith that is visible, love that is tangible, hospitality that is authentic, and hope that is unbreakable.

Pride Sunday

It's no secret that Pride Sunday is a big deal at Saint Mark. Well this year is guaranteed to be louder & prouder than ever. Not only are we inviting everyone to remain on the terrace after the 10:00 AM worship service, but we're also having Bishop Robin Dease preach at the 10:00 AM service!

Bishop Dease was elected by the 2022 Southeastern Jurisdictional Conference of The United Methodist Church and consecrated November 4, 2022. Her first assignment as bishop was to the North Georgia Episcopal Area of The United Methodist Church and she began service in North Georgia on January 1, 2023.

The awesome sauce doesn't stop there. If you don't simply want to watch the parade, you can sign up to be in the parade. And if that's still not enough for you, show up to Neighborhood Church on October 10th from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM to help build the North Georgia Conference float!

There's lots of ways to get involved this Pride Sunday. You can find the most up to date information by going to the North Georgia United Methodists Pride Parade 2026 Facebook page.

Get excited!!
